Information We Collect
Haramain Quran Institute collects information that is reasonably needed to answer enquiries, arrange trial classes, enroll students, deliver lessons, process payments, and provide support.
- Contact details, such as a name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, and time zone.
- Student details, such as age group, learning level, course interests, teacher preference, availability, and relevant learning needs.
- Enrollment, attendance, support, and communication records.
- Technical information, such as browser type, device information, IP address, cookie choices, and general website activity.
How We Use Information
We use personal information to recommend suitable courses, schedule and deliver classes, communicate with students or guardians, manage accounts and payments, improve our services, protect the website, and meet legal or administrative requirements.
We do not use personal information for purposes that are incompatible with the reason it was collected without providing an appropriate explanation or obtaining consent where required.
Children’s Privacy
Children are welcome to learn with Haramain Quran Institute, but a parent or legal guardian should submit registration details, approve the child’s participation, and remain the primary contact for enrollment, payments, and privacy requests.
We aim to collect only the information needed to teach and support a child. A parent or guardian may ask what information we hold, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable. Children should not independently send payment details or other sensitive information through chat or forms.
Trial Class and Enrollment Information
When a trial class or enrollment is requested, we may collect the student’s age, current Quran level, learning goal, preferred teacher, country, time zone, available timings, and contact preference. This information helps us match the student with an appropriate class and teacher.
If a visitor does not continue after a trial, we retain only the information reasonably needed for follow-up, recordkeeping, security, or legal obligations, and then delete or anonymize it according to our retention practices.
Payment-Related Information
We may receive billing details, the amount and currency paid, transaction references, payment status, and invoice history. Card, wallet, or bank payments may be handled by an approved payment provider or financial institution under its own privacy and security terms.
Haramain Quran Institute does not ask students to send passwords, one-time passcodes, or complete card details by email, WhatsApp, or ordinary chat. When a payment provider is used, we generally receive a confirmation or reference rather than the complete card credentials.
Third-Party Services
We may use trusted providers for video classes, email, messaging, website hosting, analytics, payment processing, scheduling, or customer support. These providers may process limited information only to provide their services and are responsible for their own privacy practices.
Before using a third-party platform, students and guardians should review its privacy choices and use a secure device and connection.
Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share necessary information with assigned teachers, authorized staff, service providers, or professional advisers who need it to deliver or support our services.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect a person’s safety, to prevent fraud or misuse, or during a lawful organizational change. We limit sharing to what is reasonably necessary.
Data Security
Haramain Quran Institute uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need the information for their role.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Students and guardians should use strong passwords, protect meeting links, and tell us promptly if they suspect unauthorized access.
Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for teaching, support, payments, records, disputes, safety, or legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it, anonymize it, or securely restrict its use.
User Privacy Rights
Depending on local law, a student, parent, or guardian may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to certain uses. Consent can be withdrawn where processing depends on consent.
Send a request to email.hqinstitute@gmail.com. We may need to confirm identity and authority before acting, especially when the request concerns a child. Some records may need to be retained for legal, payment, safety, or dispute purposes.
